Thanks AtticaFish for inviting me. I see familiar faces who are all very good tyers. It's good to be aboard.

Hey all,
I just registered. It's great to see another forum starting in our craft. Until very recently I have been pouring soft plastics and have been doing so for several years. I hope to be able to contribute in that area. Since I am not pouring any longer, I have started making jigs of different types. I am a total newbie in that area, so I will be picking your brains in one section and hopefully helping out in another! Thanks for being here.

Doc, I confess that actually my previous cats were crappie jig "accidents" but my last of the 2009 season 2 hr. session on Glendo Res in WY yielded 2 chunky channels on the same jig. 1/8 RH #2 Gami 604 with basic chartreuse/orange zonker + flashabou tie with an extra attractor which out of respect for the designer JJ2 I won't disclose without permission. I can say that a Roadrunner might work as well operating on a similar design principal. So, I'm thinking this jig will enable targetting catfish with crappie bycatch instead of the other way around.

All I can say is that JJ you are correct? At one point I have received plastics baits from 152nd Street Baits and all I can say is high quality and beautiful pours all the way through from excellent customer service to shipping out the door.
