How long does that masterpiece take to tie?
Honestly, I don't believe that anything I tie is complicated. Getting an initial idea for a new-to-me creation is what takes me the most time. Usually, it comes from just viewing materials that I find attractive to tie with combined with thoughts of critters or other lures.
The legs are simply figure 8 wrapped much like dumbbell eyes along a hook shank. The chenille is wrapped the length of the body and between the legs. Currently, I can cut legs for these in, perhaps, less than 5 minutes. To reproduce this jig, it might take me 10 minutes or less.
