AZ and AF- really like those. One of these daggone patterns ought to be able to snag a perch or two. I have never had much luck with a jig on yellow perch. Except for a couple of Canadian fishing trips. Up there we would take a dozen or two of minnows to start them and soon they would heat up to the jigs. Down here in Ohio have accidently caught a few while fishing for crappie. I always thought a good emerald imitation ought to improve chances on perch.

I use this jig on the river for Eye's and have caught every thing on it. I have a young friend the won a tourney last fall using this jig. We never tip the jig and 90% of the time we are casting the jg and just swim it back to the boat using a lift drop retrieve. He has used it in Saginaw Bay and caught 10in. plus Perch. I have caught 8 in. plus in the river but was after eye's. I used craft hair with 2 to 3 strands of flashabou per side depending on jig size. I make them 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 depending on the river speed. Ole

Oleo Nicely done. Ether one will take eyes. When I fished for them I used that pattern with a variation of red over white,Yellow over white and Black over white all caught fish. That magnet trick is a good one. Have some of them was going to use for another project but will do some as you have. Thanks for the Idea.
