FM, if you can find a clear pyrex pot that would be the best because you can see the dye colors. I've dyed rabbit strips before and the leather gets hard after they dry. I wish I knew how the big places like Hareline keep their skins soft.

Maybe they soften them after dying, they all get hard in the tanning process. As long as they don´t break under tying and soften up in the water, I don´t mind. Just orderd the dye anyhow, will give it a shot.
