Danvice. Even after switching to a Renzetti I took it back and got me some new jaws for my ole danvise.

I made my own, it works well for me:)

I would honestly love to see it no matter how crude it is. Do you have any picture of it? I have made a few simple ones and also tied a few just simply using vise grip pliers. ;)

Griffin 2A. Love it, and it is built like it will last forever. My oldest boy (6 1/2) has been tying "bugs" with me lately. He can tie a complete jig except the whip finish. Been thinking about upgrading to a Peak, then he can have his own. :)

CK3 gave me his old Thompson Vice, when I got into jig tying.....I enjoy using it..and see no reason to change...for the time being...:)

For years, I used a razor edge hook sharpening system

The jaws would hold the hook & let me tie nicely. But it was a PIA, so bought an el cheapo from Barlows

Used this for years, then got an Anvil Apix for a gift & never looked back

Dunno the name if it, came in a starter kit.
BUT if I put a good looking jig in it, it looks good.
