Give a bunch away to people on the river. They love the Flash Ducks and they are the ones that no one turns down when offered.I have guys that will stop me and ask me if I have any of this pattern or that one. They know that finding me is the only way they are going to find one as I don't sell them. For me making people happy is the best part of jig tying.

Since I make bass jigs, I sell alot of them, lose a lot of them to the water gods. Then I give many to my nephew and his friends and finally poured some pink ones for a breast cancer charity. I also give away quite a few to new potential customers to show them my work and to hopefully get a new business relationship going.

Guys on the banks of rivers and bayous around here have more of my jigs than I do. I actually go into a panic when I realize I have an open opportunity to probe some limbs bc I normally have no jigs to go with me. I get along with good ol boys n think they appreciate em. Not a lot of them left…
