Great job on the video. It's always fascinating to see how other people handle their materials.

I always tie in the whole zonker strip from the front, then trim it as the last step. I've never bothered poking the hook through the strip unless I'm doing a jig with a strip on the top and bottom.

We have a lot of white perch that tend to short bite jigs and with hooking the zonker in the hook there is no chance of the tail coming off the jig. I have also tie from the head but most times I will hook the zonker. It all comes out the same in the end, an awesome jig that catches fish
