This jig combines the best features of two of my favorites, the curly tail grub and the ugly bug.

Thank you all for your comments. :)

Pup - another nice one!!!!!! Have you gotten out to try any of these yet???

FM,

Tried this very grub this PM. Unfortunately, I just fished a single reservoir cove from shore. My only bites have been sunfish, runt yellow bass, or dink largemouth bass that tug at the tails. I need to get down to the river.

The action of the leather curly tail is superb imo. However, my opinion needs reinforcement with hard evidence (i.e. fish pictures). ;)

Might be the first leather twister in history!

Hawn,

I'd bet someone else has tried leather curly tails, but I found nothing about it on the web before I tied my first one several weeks ago.

Pup love your imagination _ always a surprise and leather curl tail would go down a treat here as antidote to things with sharp teeth!

I imagine the leather tail would soak up some scent/smell additive really well too _ unless that's considered cheating:rolleyes:
