Bought a really nice storage box recently for my unpainted jig heads. Didn't realize the nightmare of label adhesive until I removed the labels.

Don't take the label off until you hit it with a hair dryer . Start a label corner and keep the heat on it pulling gently and slowly. When its started place the heat toward the glued side continue pulling . Since I don't have enough hair left to dry that is all I use one for now.

Huh - never would have thought veg. oil. Have to try it if in a sticky situation.... :D

Deal with alot of comercial grade double-backed adhesive tape at work and we have always used lighter fluid, kind that is used to refill Zippo lighters. Have had some bad experiences with GooGone - where it makes EVERYTHING come off including paint - so only use it when we have tried everything else and test a small area first.

They have an automotive grade adhesive remover by 3M that will take any sticker off.We used to get it by the gallon when removing the decals and stripes off the sides of pickups.I'm sure that it works,100% sure.Get a plastic spreader, like they put bondo on with,or better yet a plastic razor blade and soak with the remover then use the plastic tool and it comes right off, glue and all.A swipe after it is gone and you'll never know that it was there.

Butter is even better than veg. Oil. We used that on the gift ware at the jewlery store. It worked like a charm.
