JM, yes, if one follows the money, both sides accept contributions from special interests like Wall St., big Oil, big Food, Med Ins & Pharma, and others with the capability to buy gov favoritism. And since acceptable campaign strategy includes disinformation and even lies nowadays, its hard to accurately evaluate candidates. Uncovering the TRUTH requires time many of us can't spare, so its EZ to say F*** it why bother. May be grasping at straws, but its still important for me to be as informed on issues as possible and cast my one vote. Unfortunately, its often no longer for who's best, but who's not the worst.
