Pop - Got mine at two different craft shops that are local to me. They come in 9" x 12" patches, close to about half of the price you have listed. Somewhere in the $6 range. There are some types that have short hair fibers, NOT what you want unless you are using it for tails on tiny 1/100oz. jigs or chopping it up for dubbing. The good stuff is usually listed as 'Long Pile' fur. Here are the colors that Darice offers......

Their gray pictured looks a lot lighter than mine though.

Attica - thanks for the link, might have to register with them and order straight from them, the only stuff the stores around here carry are the fur trims and short fine pieces - as you said definatley not what I'd want.
