Not for dye but salon brand bleach according to them it's less harsh than laundry bleach.

Yes I understand what your saying on the bleach part, just wonder if hair dye would be one less step if it doesn't destroy hide. My step daughter dyes her hair every other week it seems like and the dye changes dark colors which I was suprized.
