I have been making nearly the exact same bait! I guess what they say is true, "Great minds think alike." I fish for smallies in the rivers around here and they seem to really like them!

Happened on this thread this morning. Interesting tie reminds me of the Erie Dearie spinner and something a bit different from Boolies. I see you're using folded clevises. Wonder if I still have any.

Smallmouth love these at dusk. For some reason smaller Colorado blades spin and work the best. A 0 Colorado even on a 1/4 oz has been very good. Bigger blades hit the hair and don't spin as good.
