Big HOWDY from deep East Texas. Nice fish. Jealous as heck as I would like to catch a limit of walleyes. None down where I live and those are lookers. Sit a spell and enjoy yourself we are a friendly bunch.

Hawn look at the white belles on them walleyes they have been sitting on sand bottom or rocks. There aint no mud on them.Your right most likely they have some debris on them from some where. But they are eaters for sure. Pan fried in butter and garlic it don't get much better than that. BTW don't forget to take the cheeks and livers that is good eating too.

I fish Smithville and Mozingo that is 50 mile North and is full of good and easy to catch Blacks. Give me a call if you in the area or want to try a new lake.

Redman, I agree. Have saved the cheeks for years. If I just catch a couple my son and I dip them in Wasabi/soy sauce and eat them right after washing. If I get a bunch I save them back, freeze them in water and they get added to my seafood gumbo:))))
