Tied a "hairy curl" and two more craws for the river bass.

Each is tied on a 1/8-ounce ball head (collarless) with a #2 black nickel sickle hook.

The leather trailers are remarkable!!! Pup, you could really have something with those, a trailer with action that holds scent and is durable, and they look awesome!!!

Excellent work! Are the dry-rind craws tied onto the shank or are they just threaded on somehow like a plastic trailer? The all black is a beauty.

Was watching some of my old Billy Westmoreland -Fishing diaries shows last night and one of the shows is real late in the fall. he use's a ballhead hair jig and the trailer is leather that he cuts down and catch's some hugh smallies!!!!! Kept rewinding but it never listed where he got them or the brand name. Now there's a man who knew how to fish a jig!!!!!!! His book is excellent too!!!!!!

Thank you AF. I hope they'll work. The craws are tied directly onto the hook shank.
