Scott, the problem is the clay is drying out. Once it dries, it gets hard and loses its adhesiveness.

JB weld is not permanent. You can remove it by heating the mold over 600 degrees for longer than 10 minutes. Considering the melting point of lead is 612 degrees, this shouldn't be too hard.

I'm looking at getting one myself - as much as some folks say certain tv informercials and what they sell don't work, well I bought, USE and recommend the flying lure, except for the cost of the heads.

And the cool thing is you can always buy more inserts. Gotta save up some pennies first.

Got lot's of pennies just got to get them rolled and then still gonna be short LOL. And lately the BOSS isn't even talking to me cause of the mess laying around - may just have to make some more!!!!!!!! or pick it up so it don't go out the door or sold!!!

I'm gonna try something new on my walleye mold to fill in the collars.

They use this stuff to make gaskets.
