Post it up when you are done Brucey Boy....

How do you like that silver PP you got, is it silver or the silver/bronze that CM has....
It's a light silver,not like chrome.I love it,very fishy looking.
blt,I don't know what kind of vise it is.Very heavy base and it don't tip over when an 8 ozer is in it,lol.I got it from Perchjerker over at cc.com.I have had not one problem with after tying 8/0 and 9/0 hooks.Holds it really good, then goes down to a size 10 sickle without even thinking of it.Just a lot of twist of the jaws when going from 9/0 to size 10,lol.

Does your wrist get tiered/sore from the twisting/turning of those big ones while painting?
Can't wait to see 'em dressed out.
Yea,it gets tiring doing them big lumps of lead.I only do 3 or 4 at a time. You need a lot of swinging room, especially if you are doing multiple colors.

Very nice job. I would think there would be even more boats coming over this year with these jigs.
Make sure you bring a bunch of jigs with you when you come along.lol.We always attract a gang of boats.Especially when there are 50 to 100 drifting the same channel when the bite is on and good.

I will need a secret briefing as to what I will need for your area as far as weight need to hold. All of these fluke balls I have sold, all the rant and raving I hear about them from De. to NY., I have yet to try any lol. I only went Flounder drifting 1 time @ indian river bay.

The Ultra minnows can be rigged up the same way as the Fluke balls. Tie on a 48" leader onto the minnow, hook on other end, tie a loop knot of your choice about 8" above the minnow head. Drop and drift. They say the jig will either catch their attention and nab that, or they will see the top hook trail the minnow head and nab that one. Guys I sell to at work go to Fortescue NJ a lot and they are the rig of choice at the shops, and charter/head boats. They showed me pictures of double headers on them.

You will be my instructor for sure for drifting.
You ever go crabbing? I do a cut of pork on the smoker at times and cut a large section or pork skin off with a lot of fat on it. Good crabbing bait, and I even used a cut piece for Flounder and nabbed some lol.

You have to remember, I am still new to all this. 4-5 years ago, I didn't even go fishing or know how to tie a knot lol. A lot of research, Youtube, and sites like this taught me what I know so far.

Bucktails are all I have ever used for flounder, but that one day me and my Dad went drifting in his boat. That was the first time in 30 years I had fished lol. Got me hooked so to speak right then and there. Then he passed away that Dec., and I took over his tackle making w/o knowing jack squat lol. We used a 3/way wiah a 24" leader off that and one hook. Did pretty well, but I would much rather jig for my fish.
