Melting My Wheel Weights

Will they fit into your pot sitting flat like that? If so, flip them over, put them into the COLD pot, fire it up. By the time it melts down to the area in question, the moisture will have evaporated.

I have a coffee or water with me almost all the time when I am melting. Just don't lean over the pot while drinking, sit it down somewhere away from the pot.

When I was melting the wheel weights I had a bottle of water but I didn't go near the pot with it.
