More on SC molds: the first one I got many years ago was a difficult $160 indeed. Back then Do-its were under $30 new & cheaper on eBay so paying over 5x Do-it was a big pill. To me the price was worth it and 8 more followed. If his customer service was better, I'd order at least 10 more.

That being said, the few Hilts molds I poured worked fine.

Buying quality allways pays off. And what is wrong with Ebay these days, people are charging the same prizes for old items as for new ones?.

KB - are you using the glitter for clear coats on jigs??? If so most of us just use craft glitter and cure longer at a lower temp and this would save you a bunch of money. I'll post a pic of what I get for my clearcoat powder.

As for Ebay - It really went downhill from what it used to be!!!!!!!!!!! But you can find some really good deals by playing around with search terms!!!!!!!!! On molds if they only list one picture ASK FOR MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! This saved me a real headache on an old Palmer mold I wanted!! The extra pics showed that the mold had a crack which they tried to fix.

Heres the picture of the glitter I get at craft stores, most is fine or extra fine and I use it in clear powder paint. Don't know how it looks on the really big jigs.

If the glitter is for plastics check with RonDon and he could tell you if it works okay.

Yah, eBay Do-its & even some Hilts are going pretty high nowadays, especially jig head molds. I bid pretty high, but lost 3 in a row I think. Some discos go for way more than current new. The last one I got was Buy it Now and it was a dud.

I think I saw a LMBullet on eBay recently, just gotta keep on it, search at least 2x weekly.

The good molds are getting rare - LMBs are getting stupid money now. The Lil Mac does not need an insert like the LMB. And the wire looks like it will pull out a lot easier. I have both but haven't poured them yet.

Got a pretty good deal on two ultra light custom molds last week off of ebay - there are still some good finds.

I found a weedless walleye jig mold, it is an old mold and I find one every once in awhile but I'm not paying $70 to $90 and that is the range they usually sell for. What is worse is I'm seeing a lot of molds that are used listed at $40???? I just go to Zeiners Bass shop and pay a lot less, the weedless ball jig mold I got there was $28.86 with $5.00 shipping and I had it 2 days after I ordered it as they ship it the same day. Too many use ebay and now most items end up at retail price so you really have to look to find a deal and then look at the shipping, I was going to get a rod off ebay as it was like $30 dollars cheaper but the shipping was $29.99, unreal.

If I needed one, I'd pay that price. The last Hilts I bid on this year went for $60 something bucks! Think I bid $47 and was left in the dust.

Hopefully they do!! Be great to see them open up a suggestions forum - I asked about one but didnt' get an answer back. Wish I hadn't got rid of the ones I had!!!!
