Ok....looking at this a thinking a stop at Tandy Leather is in order. What are the success stories with this trailer application...Also in shapes that are hotter than others?

PB,

I cut the tail based on my memory of an Uncle Josh (UJ) pork rind that I fished some time ago. UJ has been sold for many years. So, I like my trailer's chances. Also, the jig is a brand-new, one-of-a-kind design for me that I haven't fished yet.

Most of my "leather" fishing, so far, involved jigs with cut curly-tails. Have not caught any large fish on them yet, just plenty of small bass.

Leather behaves like pork rind in the water.

With you on the theory.....#11 has been hot for years and I still use. Keep us all posted. I was looking at this a thinking about the scent trail could be used to the advantage of the design.
