I have a MAJOR lack of fishing time now. That's why next year, I will have my Pa. license, and I am here to learn to do crappie jigs. My Wifes Unkle's Brother......I think I said that right lol, raises fish in a pond behind his house. Mostly Bluegill, but also has a few very large cattys in there, a couple hybrid Stripers, LMB, and I'm not sure what else. Most of the Gills are in a cage.
I took my Daughter there for her first real fishing and she loved it. No barbs on the hooks, smashed them down. She had 8# mono on the reel, hooked up on something large, fought it for about 10 minutes, unspooling, reel it in, unspooling, reel it in, line broke. It was a Kodak moment....she was BITTER lol. If you have kids, it was one of those times where you did not let them see you laughing, because the look on her face would have scared a dead man lol.

Your right on the look, my four year old grand daughter gave me one of them, when I made her sit because she was jumping off the furniture and I didn't want her to get hurt.

I think that "Look" is in the female genes, they all know how to do it, some just perfect it lol.
