I just had to put the hackle on it, I just can't get over how much easier it is to do with a rotary vise. :)

Good looking jig! The rotary vises are nice. Ya'll are ahead of me. I'm still debating on what to tye. Was going to try a crawfish with my wobblehead mold I filled the barb in on yesterday, or do something with the 1/32 or 1/48 heads I have poured. I'll get something done over new years. Nice ties everyone!

JM....put me on the list. Have some new snow goose feathers looking for a jig!

Ok pb, gotcha down and welcome. I have double and triple checked the list and I'm purdy sure I have everyone listed that said they wanted in. If I have missed anyone, please let me know. There have been some very nice jigs posted up so far. I hope ya'll are having as much fun with this as I am.

I have been trying to think of a pattern that would be close to what ya'll are tying and I think I have finally decided on one, at least I have Mel's permission. There are several tyers that have joined that will remember, but I will bring the rest up to date. About the time these jigs make it back home to ya'll will be close to my bride's second anniversary of being diagnosed with breast cancer. During that time I asked you guys for prayers and man did you ever. When we needed it the most ya'll were there. Again thank you for being there for us when we needed it.

Anyway I tied a jig for her and asked you guys for some suggestions on a name. She decided on Positive Pink, because it fit her to a T. So I thought I would try and tye some more for you guys. I just hope I can do them justice, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I will tying them. And maybe catch a few fish too......

OK, looks like it is us girls. If you would, send me "20" jigs, that would be one for each tyer and one for the board. The sooner I get em, deadline "January 31, 2014", the sooner you get em BACK. Most of you already know, but I have included a Link below for Info. on the rules and packaging of your jigs. With the size limit 6 stamps on your return package should be plenty. Let the games Begin...

I have sent my contact info. to ya'll in a PM. If I missed someone let me know and I'll get it on the way....

Just an FYI, I weighed the 20 Swap jigs (1/32oz each), added 10 1/8oz jig heads, the Zip-Loc bag & the Bubble envelope and it came to 2.8oz. The postal rate for "Large Envelope's", First Class Mail for 2oz is $1.12 (3 stamps) & 3oz is $1.32 (3 stamps). If the weight goes between 3oz & 4oz, the rate is $1.52 which is 4 stamps. That's from anywhere to anywhere in the Lower 48 and until 1/26/14 anyway!

Well, poured and painted mine. Tied one "proto-type", but will tie the rest this weekend. It's my Crappie Craw. I know of a rock bank that this would be deadly on during the spawn.

That is a good looking jig. I have fished something very similar ever since Robert (Crazy Angler) started selling that style head. It works very well on the rocky banks at Stamford. The only problem is now those rocky banks are out of the water.
