CCJ is making a strong run for the finish line!

I watched the Clemson OSU game instead of the Mizzou game so I missed it. BUT the one I watched was a GOOD'UN! Man I told you NOOBS back before the bowls started to not pick OSU!!! They lose the big games. Tell me the last big time game they've won???

I picked them because I need to make some points that no one else was going to get. Had to try. My jigs are packed and waiting on a address.

Good point Gary. Guess I will let ya slide... This Time!

In case ya missed it Roger... I briefly took back the top spot for about 3 minutes right after Clemson won! Then Mizzou had to win and I dropped to 3rd :(

OSU's defense especially bad this year. Lots of good QB's not only had good games against them. They had CAREER bests playing vs OSU this year. Woody Hayes has to be rolling over in his grave.

OSU does not always lose the big game. They did win a championship back in the early 2000's. They beat Oregon in the Rose Bowl when Oregon was favored. But in the last few years they have been good at laying eggs. Braxton Miller is a good QB but sometimes I think he worries about " style " too much. I much prefer Guiton not as talented but solid and steady and not as prone to turnovers.

Actually the score should have been even worse. But some of Clemsons " bonehead " plays allowed some breathing rooms to the Bucks. If I would have been in contest I would have selected Clemson. As OSU has not even come close to stopping even an average offense all year . One good thing us OSU fans can be glad of. If OSU would have played FSU in the Championship game.
It would have been a huge embarassment. FSU would have thought they were at a track meet.

Hey papa that's what I was referring to... Its been a decade since they've won a big game in my eyes. LSU beat them in the championship with a mediocre team. Sorry not trying to knock the team. Because with the coach they have now I see them having some of the best teams in OSU history soon!

No reason for an apology facts is facts. You should have seen some of the comments up here on some sports blogs prior to game.

Some of them were calling Clemson a joke and just wait until they see our running backs. I pointed out they called Michigan State a joke also and asked them if they were still laughing.

I am as big a fan of my team as there is. But I am not blind to their shortcomings. The only place where I would ask for pity is NFL football. Because I am alas a " Browns " fan and their status is nothing more than a joke. Plus it don't look to get any better in the near future. We have an owner that thinks throwing piles of money at a problem will fix anything. Then he hires a guy like Lombardi that is an egomaniac and knows nothing about the game.

Tough being a Northeast Ohio Sport Fan of Pro anything.

Browns last Championship --- 1964 -- I was 17 years old
Cleveland Indians Last Championship-- 1948-- I was 1 yr old
Cleveland Cavaliers ---- Have never won an NBA championship.

Do I deserve a PITY PARTY or what !!!!!

What do you get for finishing last? If I'm not I'm close. Picked OK STATE but was rooting for Mizzou. The way this year went if I would have picked my Mizzou they would have lost for sure.

Congrats Ronnie! Man I was yelling at Mason to take a knee at the 1 yard line on his last score! I knew the Noles would score with over a minute left. It was a Good game. Hat goes off to Auburn for showing up to play.

So the PICKMASTER from PIEDMONT was the ultimate football guru. Ron what you got to do now is be Mr Know It All about college football to reign supreme until next year.

Make sure to rub it in just a little to the young whippersnappers by taking pix of the fishies you catch on their jigs.

In case no one can tell I like to talk smack. When I played I ran my mouth as fast as my feet.

Ron is more than likely a better gentleman than me. But cmon man you got to rub it in a little. LOL
