welll, as i am already having to order from 2 different places, since BPS doesnt have the reptile rubber legs. i wouldnt want to order from 3 places. i will look and see about powder paint on lurepartsonline.

Trust me, ordering from multiple places will become habit. Gotta go for the better deals, even if it means adding another place to order from. I've bought from lure parts online, but tj's was cheaper... Just trying to help you out. I've got to place a new order soon for additional colors myself. Having some interesting requests come up for colors

Welcome from Lake Palestine! Don't forget a vise! Didn't see it in your original post. HA! Although I've heard of some that tie using a pair of Vise Grips clamped in a bench vise. BTW, you might want to check out CrazyAnglerTackle.com. Robert can fix you up with whatever you need and get it to you in a couple days.

i have a cheap fixed vise, but i want to get a new one. i hae been to crazy angler and find it can be a bit hard to find exactly what i am wanting. i really didnt want my total to go over 250 dollars, but with tax and stuff, it went to 300. I am in Porter/New Caney, and my home lake is lake livingston (1.5 hour ride) because we have a boat stall and my grandparents live on the lake. I have many visions for jigs.

1 question, can you tie a traditional jig (chenille and marabou) on a small hook size like 1/64 1/80 and 1/124? If so, how hard is it?

If you want to tie down on that small of jigs, you will want 'ultra' size chenille...... even ultra chenille may be to big and bulky (block the hook gap) on 1/80's and 1/124's. On that size i would suggest tying thread neck style jigs.
