I use 30lb. braid, don't need no bloody net.I just like yelling "Net Boy" and watch you try to find it while the fluke is slapping the deck of the boat.

If I have to be strapped in,I am just wondering how the heck I'm going to to net your dink flounder for you.

So for you new folks/lurkers c'mon post up - ya might have something good to share and just don't realize it!!!!!!!!!!

Just found the board, so guess that makes me a FNG, right?

I just wrote an article on how to make & fish a jig I think is money. Will find the proper spot & post it up.

Only thing worst than a newbie lurking is someone that has been here a few months lurking....like me lol. To busy with saltwater stuff to focus on Crappie jigs, and I am getting BITTER lol. Even worse is saltwater fishing is off this year so far. MIld winter?? Good news for us is there is a lot of Weakfish around.

Would like to read that jigging article.

Biggest I saw was about 21" A lot of 12-15" fish. Only can keep one. I won't keep any. Comm. netters are allowed 100 pounds a day.

I caught an 18.25" flounder last w/e that was very narrow, and paper thin. Didn't even think it was a keeper until I measured. It was so thin and flat because the jaw was broken up. I catch a lot of flounder with busted up jaws, and see dead ones wash up on the beach by the pier because people just rip the hooks out not giving a crap about the fish. Leave the hook and I will give you a new one if we can't get it out right.

Flounder is the same way Hawn.....some states the Comm. guys are 13", the rec fisherman are 3-4" larger. Where I fish (De.) the size is 18.5".

There was a film clip of Carolina netters on the news and 'net last year I will have to try and find for you to see and the fish that die undersized they put back into the water. It would make you sick.
