I was looking around the jig swap threads last night for idea's on patterns and paint jobs - and realized of course a CRS moment that we've had a lot of new folks sign up for the JC site that aren't posting yet.

Besides the tying discussion section check out the threads for the jigs swaps, I've found more than a few ties that I haven't seen before. And with all the stuff we lost - and everyone trying to repost it all.

So for you new folks/lurkers c'mon post up - ya might have something good to share and just don't realize it!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I agree, I am one of the new guys and I am learning by posting my stuff and getting some hints here and there. The best one was that kip tail might not be the best material to start tying with.

This has to be the most friendliest site I visit.

Love to see all the new members recently, and hope they see enough good feedback to post some of their creations...We have some experts in most category's and they are always willing to help with any questions...

Out here...
I have learned a ton of stuff hanging around here and really enjoy everyone here. But I had no idea the years of experience on this forum until Bombora asked the question about the jig itself and when it first made the scene. That has to be the coolest most informative thread I have read. Thank you guys and gals for the willingness to share your knowledge. I appreciate it!!!

It would be amazing to total up the combined years of knowledge on here just in tying, pouring, and painting!

How and why did you get started

Thankyou Jigcraft.com

Lurkers - We do have a few members with lots of hours spent online but no posts - if that what a lurker would be. I have some ideas to 'lure' them into posting at some point in the future. :)

Being a saltwater guy looking to get into fresh water fishing, I love this site. Learned a lot of info here.

May be a little on the "unfriendly" side, but one of the other forums I go to has a 1 post per month guide line. No post, you are dropped. Mostly because people post where they are catching fish, and some just join to get that info, and never post any reports or info at all. Just there to get info as to where to catch them.
