Disappearing posts on CDC

In PMs to AF and ledhed I expressed I was DONE with CDC until he77 freezes over or until Skip rides into the sunset. I no longer post anything over there anymore. I still poke around there now and then but never utter so much as a comment.

I am of the opinion that it is impossible to teach somebody that knows everything. Men of sound mind realize that no one man can know it all. Yet there are still ignorant a***s insisting they are the exception.

I understand disagreements , happens even to the best of friends and family. What I refuse to put up with is bullying and heavy hands. Skip has never said or done anything to me personally but he has to people I like.

To break in down into a simple math equation :

CDC = when posting all posts shall help skippy sell and be acknowledged as the best jig tyer of jigs of the highest quality.

JC = when posting all posts shall pique our interests in tying and fishing. Never ashamed to ask for help and never too good to give it. And of course none of us shall refrain from tweaking one another now and then.

Id like to throw my 2 cents in if yall dont mind.

Ive been guilty of some comments as well,but I think JC is above discussing some carp going on with other sites.I think we are all here because we enjoy the hobby and are willing to help each other any way we can.

I dont like a lot of what goes on over there,but we should set our standards a little higher than wasting our time on that.

I have nothing else to say about it either, my venting is done. It just really made me feel like good people were almost being cheated, or taken advantage of in a way, and it really burns me, when I feel like someone is being unfairly treated. Anyway, I look forward to contributing to this great site as much as I can.

hunter - you stirred it more than a little. The bad thing is they had to delete a couple of more posts to get where they are.

There was the skippy I quit again (pretty sure that was the third time).

And then there was RTs attempt to get a poll going (for a tool forum) and skippy went after jigtosser to prove that he (skippy) never bounced anyone or posts from CDC. I posted on there that it was a great idea for the forum and we have something like that on JC, started by AF. Meaning that skippy is a bold face liar – if he didn’t do it – he is the direct cause for JC & AF ban from CDC. The guy is delusional – never once apologized to anyone. And now they make it appear like poor skippy needed a break and asked RT to step in and help. Sounds like 1984 and some newspeak…………

I think RT will do well with the new sub-forum - if someone would leave it alone

Not being personally involved, I nonetheless find the CDC shenanigans entertaining.

Forgot, good time to mention my appreciation for the JigCraft mods. Generous, non-judgemental, & knowledgeable.

I'm on CDC almost every day, but I haven't even looked at the jig tying forum in a month or two. I have a lot of friends on the Mississippi Forum as I do on JigCraft. The jig tying forum has lost it's glamour, as I don't recognize anyone on it anymore.

Keep up the good work JigCraft.

LedHed, the only reason Snakes thread was deleted is he sent me a PM asking me to please remove the thread. It was going in a place he didn't want to go. No big brother about that one LOL.

ScottC - there are some really great people on CDC - It's a rare few that ruin the experience for me.
