Im only going to give two suggestions for your weekend music experiments...
Ive spent some time this week, and dont know how I missed it last couple years, but Ive spent some time last few days on "Live from Daryl's House"..Tons of vids out there, but D. Hall has a studio at his house and has an artist in each week to sing. Most of them do a few of their own and a couple of Hall and Oats songs. Some old and some new artists, and and few Ive never heard of,but well worth the watch.
Pretty much all acoustic,so do what you want...
Smokey,Todd Rungren,Billy Gibbons,Joe Walsh,Booker T, many more.Newer side Train,Gavin DeGraw ,Jason Mraz.....were all pretty good

One other I'd recommend is for any of you Dwight Yoakam fans his "Acoustic Versions" album is top shelf...25 hits with basically nothing but him and his guitar..

Not many songs on the Tube....but its one you need to own.
