Man you got generous buds. I've cut loose every fishing partner prospect here cuz they take without sharing.

I've done the same with many friends. Especially when they expect me to pour, tie & send jigs with out even a thank you

In this case it's a high school buddy. And he got to keep all the fillets since I was traveling and what would I do with them?

Heading back out to CA in a few weeks. Reports are showing the kelp beds are full of cod, sheep head, and snapper. This time I had to pay for the boat LOL

Just ketchin' up with posts. I hope to be tying again soon, as I've missed it. Been through a divorce and a family fatality. Have a newer job with a career that I love. For the old guard who might remember me, I believe that you know that I'm relatively prolific with post submissions when active. I really hope to become prolific again sometime soon. Yep, might as well give it a shot and see. Sure wish you would close the gate and keep that north pole air up there. Hawaii might not be so bad after all.. Wish I could afford it.

Heck, late next week is supposed to have some days above 40 with a possible 50 on Sat. - and I'm in NY! Of course more often than not, weather predictions are more guesses than predictions and less accurate than flipping a coin.

Glad to see many of the same tribe still here. I don’t get here as much as I’d like to either. My boats getting cobwebs on it from sitting so long. Just seems like something is always getting in the way.
