Thanks for all the opinions - I went with all black chrome - with my $5 coupon it ran me $71
1000 each in #2 and #4 and 500 #6

Jig Man - check again cause almost all the sizes are listed now in the black chrome.

I like the idea of having the red hook but it doesn't last. I usually end up starting with a red hook and ending with a gold one.
I am liking the black ones more and more. The coating doesn't come off and they won't rust for a long time! I still use the red too though.

You can make your own red hooks or recolor the ones that fade by putting them on a wire separated by tiny metal beads . Them dip them in red layout fluid that any machine shop supply sells . Layout fluid comes in several colors too .
