Best bug repellant?

Papa some of those up here in Vermont that like the skin so soft found it worked on mosquito's but the black flies love the stuff - they usually don't bother me but I'd much rather get bit by a sceeter than a black fly!!!

If this works ... will save a lot of mess.
The Yellow Flies this year are bad .. They will eat you up and I think they might enjoy "Deet".

I like thermocell if there isn't wind. I always carry a pump bottle of 100% deet. I don't know if it is legal/available in all states but that stuff rocks! a little of that goes a long way.
