X2 with Attica!!!!!! Keep it down there - we've been up in the 50's but the winds are keeping it cool. Just think of it this way Rad when it melts it'll had some moisture to the ground!!.

Hey Rad don't put them winter clothes away yet. NWS says that there is to be one more cold spell that will hit in the middle of the week. Get ready for more rain, Thunderstorms, Hail , Snow, freezing temps. Fun and games with the weather in Texas. Just hope that this is the last one of the season.

We the cold front went thur Deep East Texas. When I let the dogs out this morning at 6:30 A.M. CDT it was 72 degrees F. At 10:30 A.M. The temp dropped from 73 to 60. By 3:30 the temp was at 49 degrees. I had a few sticks of fire wood in the house. Got in some more wood for a day. Looked at the forecast and the NWS said it was to be 39 degrees tonight. Well one thing for sure the Crappies won't be hitting for a day or so. With all the thunder and lighting we had with the cold front and wind. It seems that Mother nature has had it in for us crappie fishermen this year. I have yet to put out a big female crappie this year yet. beginning to think that they will not spawn this year here.

Well then I won't complain to loud. Here I thought that I was the Lone Ranger with all the cold weather and wind.

Yep JM that will turn them off really quick. Funny this weather is crazy. I went to a storm spotters class offered by the NWS and ask them about it. They jokingly told me it's because of the sequester. Then they told me it has something to do with the temps over the Pacific ocean. To tell the truth I don't think that they know whether they are on foot or horseback this weather is so messed up. Warm moist air from the gulf and Pacific colliding with the cold air from the Canadian Rockies. More like a Alberta Clipper rolling way far south.
