Here i thought you didn't like Blake Shelton. I have seen the commercial once.... Maybe we could start an ANGLERS ONLY dating site as an add on to JigCraft.

"BFE". LOL. There's a term I haven't heard in awhile.....

My wife is from Michigan. I lived up there for 4 years. Even when I was running the "back roads" (all nicely-paved, two-lane blacktop rabbit trails), there were still homes every couple hundred yards, maybe every quarter-mile at the furthest. And I literally ran all over that county. I was one of those crazy nuts with a metal detector, always looking for ghost towns, county parks, etc.....

Now, here where I live in OK, it's different. County roads are on a section-line grid. In my part of the state, those roads are usually paved, but out in the sticks, the roads are chock-full of pot-holes, and a series of patches in the pavements as the powers-that-be can never figure out how to fund street repair/replacement. In some places, you may only see one home per mile.

If you really want to be in No-Man's Land, literally, just go out to the OK Panhandle. You can almost see Texas on the southern horizon, and Kansas on the northern horizon. Not a house in sight for miles. Don't let your car break down.....

Wow, went back and re-read it and that one sure flew 35,000' OVER my head. I took it literally that YOU lived "between an Amish produce stand and a strip club" for some reason. I was out on the ice most of the day yesterday.... think the cold numbed my brain a bit. :beat-up: Fishin' sucked too. My wife has started wondering why i have a grand worth of ice fishing gear and still have trouble finding fish. Need to make a trip up to Erie.

TV knows how to sell their product. Did the same with Aniston back when Friends was running.

More fields of course. There are a handful of houses insight. We do have 1 house that is about a 1/4 mile as the crow flies from us but the others are all around a mile or more away. We are only about 2 miles from town though so the night sky gets all screwed up. Glare of a Dollar General store lights to the South, town lights to the East and the local K-12 school lights to the West..... only good dark sky is to the North.
