I was thinking bobcat, uncle and neighbor say baby cougar, as some have been spotted in the area.. also a few Jaguarundis have been spotted..

It does look to be a tail Ronny,,,

But its not nealrly as big as the Black panther I spotted while driving with Heath ;)

I'd hate to run into him/her out in the open!!!!! What tripped the cage??? Only other thing I'd worry about is he getting after any livestock!!!! then he'd be tying material!!!!!!!

Doug, dang Raccoons tripped the cage, we have caught several coons in the traps....
