Well.... sorta. This takes us back a ways...... to the middle of January!!! I have another backup that is from Feb 3rd but still trying to figure out if i can use it or not. damn my head hurts. :beat-up:

Well...... can't get any of the newer back-ups to work. Stuck with what we had from January 16 including all members, posts AND private messages.

We lost a bunch of good stuff here and i am VERY sorry to all.

If you know any of the members who would have signed up after the 16th... please have the create a new account as all the old records were deleted.

This was a major learning experience for me on where to make my back-ups. I do feel really bad that so much was lost but about all i can say is that it could have been worse. :-/

By the rate that i was getting emails saying the site was down - i was beginning to worry if there would be a rush at the mental ward and be no room left for me!

What exactly happened?

A couple corrupted database tables that i could not get repaired led to me contacting my web host to help me fix them. They 'fixed' it to the tune of wiping the entire database off the server.... table structure, users, posts and all. Had back-ups made but not all of them would work and had to go back to one made mid January to get good one. Site was only down for a day but lost darn near a whole month worth of posts and messages.

What exactly happened?
