Made my yearly trip to Cabelas in Dundee Michigan today and after my gift card it was only $75!! The wife was really surprised - pics will follow when I get back to Vermont.

You are lucky, I have Bass Pro, Field and Stream and Cabelas within 35 minutes. Really has a negative impact on your disposable income.

I've mail ordered from Cabelas for years, but last week visited my first on outside of Harrisburg, PA.

Was I ever disappointed. Everything I needed they either didn't carry or was out of. And the prices? Except for the bargin bin, I'll wait for the sales in their catalogs and pay for shipping.

Dead animals all around was kowl though.

The brick and mortar store in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA was a disappointment to me. Both Walmart and Academy had significantly lower prices on the Rooster Tail Inline Spinners that I desired. However, their selection of baits was very good and better than the other two retailers.

Their in-store bargain cave was a significant waste of my time.

The one thing I've always been disappointed in is they don't have very many molds and even then they're way more than other places.

but here's what I picked up this year.

Finally got home last night - it was a fun 12 1/2 hrs.

Here's what I picked up this year

2 coils of .031 Wire

2 Sizes of prop blades and 3 packs of #1 willow leaf blades: plain and hammered nickle, and hammered brass

Thread and craft fur

and of course 2 bags of bunny pieces

and I've been looking at this Dubro wire twister tool and finally said the heck with it, we'll see

2 black beanie hats and the wife wanted 2 bags of cinnamon toasted cashews. I managed to get them to give me a bag of plain roasted one!

Paid a little more for the blades and props and wire but in the long run saved money on not having to pay high shipping. I make my own spinners so I don't look at those.

Let us know how you like that - been looking at them for a while, just to cheap to pull the trigger on something I can't hold

That was my problem with buying it but I finally went for it. My main wire former is an old Netcraft (Before Janns) that I got for $5 way back in the 80's. I'll let you know how it works out.
