I made 30 paint, cure, epoxy weed guard and coat head, made skirts, and installed skirts in about 5 hours. But I was doing other things also like watching tv, and talking on the phone. The hook is so sharp you really don't even have to set it. However, as much as the hooks cost, they should hook up, reel it in, take it off the hook, and put it in the live well. But then again no one has ever told me fishing is a cheap sport.

Nice looking jigs. Pricey hooks but as you said "they should hook up, reel it in, take it off the hook, and put it in the live well" IMO, they should also run to the lake bring the fish home clean it and pack it.

Do you make your skirts or buy them premade?

I make my own skirts, I've been told that I'm to particular to just go out and buy anything like that already made up. I'm so darn stubborn I wouldn't even buy the tool, that I made one out of an ink pen. That said, I suppose I am pretty stubborn, I don't care much about catching small fish either, but once in a while I'll tolerate a few of them little boogers right into a skillet full of hot grease. :D
