I like finding some diff wood on the river on occasion. These are a pair I found with Helianthus a bit back that I gave to my sister. Doing yard work today and decided to snap a pic to share

What?!?!? You're crazy. There's more "structure" in our rivers than could ever possibly be competed with. That would be time wasted.

Gravel pits are another story. But would never waste good driftwood, that's what cane and boo condos are for.

Besides, I can catch fish in sand. :)

Yup, driftwood is natural art - each one uniquely different.

Many years ago, I needed a practice sword for tai chi, and found a piece of driftwood that shouted "I am the one". Hand carved it, the only enduring artistic creation of my life. Think the salt water borers enhanced its uniqueness.

Drift wood art is pretty cool . There is a lake not far from me that has so many logs and stumps you better take plenty of shear pins . Get out of the main channel and you have had it . Lot of pecular drift wood . Dosen't stay long folks haul it off by the truck load . Need some of them ceramic fairies to go with those stumps .

Dang nice sword Hawn

I love drift wood! That bigger piece is Awesome! I could see that being used as part of a display of multiple Slab crappie mounts.
