#8 long shank hook. Olive Marabou and Red Hackle tail. Olive/Black chenille.
When dad first taught me to fly fish I used to make little poppers like this with corks but i didn't have the stuff or the know how to tie tails on. I'd use lil dual curly tail grubs or I would glue pieces of fly line to the cork. They never lasted long cause the bluegills and bass would tear them up.
