A friend of my FIL made this for me. I was told I was getting a wooden crappie couple days ago. Really wasn't expecting much, but I was blown away when I saw it. The detail is pretty cool. My first thoughts were it had to be computer programmed! But all done by hand. Maybe I need a new hobby!

He uses a scroll saw. He was doing the face of a tiger for an LSU fan. It was incredible.

Very nice work. I worked with wood for many years and that isn't easy to do. Lots of time spent cutting that out.

not an easy thing to do indeed. my parents had a craft business while I was growing up. so I spent many many many hours at the saw when I was young and learned from my dad. it's becoming a lost art nowadays with all the automatic machining.
