I picked up about two dozen 1/16 and 1/8th ounce wobble heads in a trade. They're the same as the spoon shaped jig heads Cabela's sells. I have never fished with these heads before. Anyone have any suggestions on what to use to dress them and how to fish them?

I just paint them up ,put the eyes on top . Palmer a hackle feather close to the head finish with a swirl tail grub or a paddle tail. Slow retrieve along the bottom , jig them , or add a beetle spin if you want a steady retrieve . Whatever works for the moment bro.

My use of the wobble head is for applications that optimize the built in design functions of slow fall and shallow running. Meaning a good foundation for building jigs for shallow snaggy areas. I like to trim off the collar to allow room for a shank propeller which further accentuates the head design qualities. A full fluffy Boolie tie maximizes the ability to run shallow or hover above bottom slower than other jig designs.

Another option is a skinny tie to activate the wobble, which as mentioned is more a side to side swing at normal retrieve speeds. For intense wobble a crank or blade bait might be a better choice.
