Ive mentioned the drought weve been having, and still are, with only right at 1 " of precipt YTD..but add to that our string of over 3 weeks of triple digit temps is getting hard to handle...

Official high today 110 :@ Weatherman said it hit 114 at the station, but not at the recording site...3 rd hottest day weve ever had,and the forecast shows NO CHANGE.....

Hate to hear that Rog. We finally got rain last week... Got a couple inches and highs only around 90 for 3 days. It was nice to cool off a bit but its just gonna make next weeks triple digits unbearable again!

Man,that's blazin hot !!! I wish I could send you some of our rain and the 80's that go with it. We've been at flood stage our higher all year. There's plenty of water here. We could send some down to LA too and wouldn't miss it.

I wish I could send you the rain that's in the North East, we're sick of it. I wouldn't mind 75-78 degrees every day and sunny skies. Hope you guys can break it soon.

There is an old wives tail that says : walk around a close line pole carrying a wet dish rag . Then bury it next to the pole . Said to rain within seven days time. Dunno never tried it. Probably rain on the forth of July though.

Hate to hear the drought is that bad in Texas and all the other places. I seen where NC has some fires out of control on the coast now too. We are getting a little rain but the storms has more wind than I have ever seen and it seems that every storms is rough. I had three trees that got blown down on my shop Wed night but the way they landed on each other helped save the shop from much damage.
Everyone stay safe in this heat.

Roger, you forgot to mention the 30+ mile per hour winds that go with this heat... It's like walking into a blast furnace when you step outside...Lots of folks that make their living from the land are having a TOUGH time right now.
