What is the difference in all the different type of chenille?

I like the newage chenille because it doesnt have that shiny sheen to it like nylon and rayon. but whats the difference? I need a black color chenille but there isnt any newage in black! I know there is black ultra chenille, but eh. Is there any way to get a custom color of newage?

My favorite solid black is crystal antron... Can't tell in the picher but it does have some flash in it!!!

Yea customs are made but you have to order a sken....

Typically custom colors you have too order a Gross, which is two skeins..

There are at least 4 new age blacks I know of, and probably a few more.Midnight pearl is a black with silver and green, Midnight fire is black with red and blue,Midnight rainbow is black with gold and blue ,anthracite is a black silver,I have a black gold,Ill see if I can find the name.

If solid is what your after, new age isnt the ticket,they all have color and or some flash.Anthracite is as pure black as you'll get in new age,Its a good one but didnt have enough flash for me.

PanfishHunter new age chenille is either rayon or nylon with mylar flash added to it. I have it with black/black, black/silver, black/gold, black.red, black/red&blue, black/Lime and maybe another one or two.as for custom colors pm me and will try and help you out with it so you wont have to buy a gross of it.

Chenille is actually the name of the process used to make the yarn, so there are a LOT of materials sold as chenille with vastly different materials, densities and properties. Any yarn with short fibers trapped between two twisted core threads is a chenille.

I like crystal chenille and the new age chenille that's very dense and fuzzy.

I have about a dozen yards of anthracite, and it is definitely solid black. The camera and your monitor can drastically change the color of the actual item.
