Depends on how good of friends they are. I sell my "plain jane" jigs $2 per 3. Those I might bump to a dollar each. "High end" nice crappie jigs that I see generally go for 1.25 or so.

Wow, I would never have thought of getting a buck for crappie jig. I'm getting out of saltwater jigs and into these more. Glad you are getting that though.

Wow,lol. These guys that want them,I don't know at all.The first guy was a school teacher that traps. He even told me to get what I want in an email last night. His buddies were amazed at how he was catching crappie with no bait at all. While, they all had buckets of minnows to carry around.I have the second guy at $20 for 2 dozen, including shipping. He only wants pink and orange,a dozen of each. So,I know what colors were working the day that they went out,Ha.

Well orange was the hot color when we went out also I think that was a hotter color than pink that day....

exactly like that'n? If it's got flash, $1 a piece..maybe even 1.25 b/c it's not an every day jig head shape you see at a retail store
Wanna make em cheaper, go with a ball head add flash, but no eyes 85 cents a piece
cheaper? ball head, no eyes, no flash, 65 cents a piece

those lil bit of materials are expensive and the extra time for each step..

i could never paint eyes...EVER so I didn't even mention that, but perhaps offer it as an option if you're good with it

buy some store bought jigs even slightly close to what you have just tied and see how the paints holds up...
much less, they're multi colored
that in itself makes a big diff when I think of quality

I don't sell, but that's what I would ask. but thats me. maybe give short prices for bulk, which to me means a few dozen.

don't sell yourself short.
Would be faster with the fluid bed I had sent.....

good luck

I wish that I would have gotten that fluid bed that you sent.Hopefully it will show up one of these days.I've been painting using just a candle for these 1/16's and then baking a couple dozen at a time to cure.Just one color at a time then tying them up before I move on to another color.Kinda boring, but puts out a lot of jigs in short time.I hate eyes also, lol.

Well, even at a buck a piece you'll never get rich. Had a fella order two dozen from me back in the spring. I thought "man, this is gonna be cool, think of all the extra money I'm gonna make." lol, I wanted to make em perfect for him, and ended up with so much time in those 24 jigs, that I probably wasn't making half of minimum wage. Still lot s of fun to hear people catching fish on your jigs. So make up some, figure out how much you had in em, and charge em that. If they don't wanna pay that much, give em to em, and listen to em brag about the fish they caught on em.

1/4 oz. or so retails for 1.89 each . The price escalates dramatically for larger ones . When they hit 1oz. up rule of thumb can be 2.00 an oz. So a 4 oz. is going to hurt at 8.00 ea.
