Im one of the first to say we dont start the Christmas(Holiday) season till after Thanksgiving, matter of fact I saw somewhere today that every time a Christmas Carol is played before,,, an elf drowns a baby reindeer, but had to make an exception today,,,I saw it last week, but temptation got the best of me tonight....

I have seen a couple different 'holiday' brews out this week...... not a big fan of the spices they tend to use in the winter stuff (ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, etc.) and always sad to see the Oktoberfest/Halloween seasonal brews disappear.

 Great Lakes Brewing Company

Both their Lake Erie Monster and Nosferatu are +8% alcohol and sure pack a punch. The LE Monster is one heavy IPA!

We only ever get one variety of the Shiner (Bock) up here that i have ever seen.

I agree, some of the best beers are made at this time of the year. Been having a few of the Red's Apple Ale lately, good football beer. :)
