My generation goes for ole' Shooter Jennings. We have a local radio station that plays a lot of "Red Dirt". Really getting into those. Stoney Larue, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Wade Bowen, Reckless Kelly, and love that crazy Ray Wylie Hubbard. They do stray from the roots of Waylon, but getting more and more popular around here!

You'd love it down here Crip...Lubbock is on a regular circuit for all those you mentioned..In fact Jason played last week,,Reckless the week before,and is here quite often..... Matter of fact ive been tempted to see Ray Wiley this weekend..

Few of my favorites right now are Hayes Carl, Chris Knight,Old Crow Medicine Show...
