Been keeping a close eye on the track of this storm coming up the coast!!! They're saying that a collision of a hurricane and arctic blast over the East Coast may be worse than 1991's "Perfect Storm."

Got all the necessities just in case!!!!

Think that way it is heading it will hit Northern Virginia and start inland from there. Doug Hope you have a few good loads of fire wood and a good pot bellied stove or it could get ugly. Any one not having at least a months supply of food and water is not prepared. Mother nature has a way of messing up the best laid plans of mice and men.

Stay safe my friend not only have you had to go thur floods earlier this year now you have this to worry about.

Trust me I'm keeping a sharp watch on it!!!!!! Got all the outside stuff packed away in the garage and the windows were boarded up for the winter anyway as the snow plow always throws the snow and ends up breaking one.

Landlord wont' let us have a pellet stove in the double wide so I have a portable generator and heaters.

Stump Hunter yes the coast might get a little but from all the reports that I have read. From Washington, D.C to Providence, R.I. is where this is to hit the hardest then move inland in a Northwest direction. With the cold front it will collide with the Cane and it will bury you guys with snow. Think one of you better take Mary Lou up on her offer on the Buffalo robe. Heck the way the weather was today I might even beg for its use. Went from 57 to 48 in less than three hours here and yes the wood stove got started today.

Been watching the Weather Channel storm tracker and they have about 7 different tracks for this storm. 58 degrees right now which is way warmer than usual.

We are to get 3-6.......right now that is the forecast. If it comes over the 2 days, not that big of a deal, but getting those burst of 2-3 in an hour is what kills us. Glad I got some fishing fix in the past 2 days at the river. I don't think the river will be fishable for 2 weeks. Caught some channel catties, and a few bull heads, never caught them before.

Saw that 12 surf fishermen are stranded along with their SUVs on an island off the coast of Carolina. You know what, sux to be you. Maybe I am kind of cruel by that, but I am tired of seeing guys/gals risk their life saving idiots during times like this. This storm was not a secret! People are being rescued already in De. because they are driving through water on the costal highway that is flooded already. One cop got his car stuck in the water trying to help a person stranded.

Think they would all think twice if the stated billed there dumb ass. They been putting it out for two days to keep your sorry ass home if it was not a life or death situation and you actually have to drive.

Down pouring for the past hour here temps are dropping fast was well. Have another 3 hours before it actually reaches this area.

Just in time for high tide and a full moon to boot, tides are going to be super high tonight.

Hell they already closed the city of Philadelphia for monday. Police, fire and rescue only oh yea forgot the prison guards are only ones going to be working.

Should prove to be an interesting night tonight ...

That's one of my problems - I'm considered essential so I have to drive in, luckily I have a food drawer here at work and keep a small bag in the car.

Now when every way for me to get in is closed they have to learn to do without, but that doesn't happen to often.
