Finally decided to give the the gummy minnow a try. Bum ankle after rolling in front yard has me slowed up for a bit and I am B-O-R-E-D .
So last night I begin search for materials. Find place after extensive search and carefully figure out order which came out to a little more than 60 bucks.
First thing this AM get a phone call. 60 % of what I ordered is out of stock. He wanted to know if I wanted to split order or wait for backorder to ship at all once.
I don't want to mention this company's name as it s the first time I have ordered from them. But how hard could it be to use software that informs customers when they go to order it that you are out of whatever at the present moment. Say like Cabelas or Fish USA. I will never commit to back ordering stuff as it can tie your money up for long time. So I just cancelled entire order.
One company I ordered some ice fishing stuff few years back. About 15 days of waiting I call the guy to see if my stuff has been shipped yet .He informed me since all his stuff was custom made by him. His reply was I should know that it would take a long time. I expressed that nowhere on his site did he state any mention of any kind of delay. Asked for refund and received it.
I don't understand someone who is trying to be a success being ignorant of seasonal demands. I mean even a kid running a lemonade stand realizes if the pitcher is dry he is not going to be making any more money.
Everyone realizes that there will be occasional foul ups in inventory. But if companies who like being in business want to be a success. They should have some way to alert customer that they don't have it so customer does not waste time and filling out long windy shipping orders.
Ok rant over we will now return you to our regular programming.
