Took the wagon out for a little bit this morning,and had a blast..Even in the 20 + MPH North winds was able to find a few.
I fished this same spot from the bank on Monday,just casting,and did well for the 30 minutes I was there.The cold front last night had pushed them TIGHT into the cattails.Took some work,but managed a decent stringer,with a couple of kickers..
Finished with a bakers dozen,turned loose probably twice that many,but not one female was caught today.(except for the green fish that took me for a ride
)
With an 11" for comparison.
The fish have been on a Lectric Chicken pattern last couple of trips,so I loaded up a few jigs from some recent swaps,and sure glad I did....
Bentley's pink panther,ScottV's I got from #14 on TFF,and Attica's chicken from the marchmadness jigs were BIG hits...Thanks guy's !!
