Take the warning to heart!!!! Had a virus hit my computer last week and it took over the computer. Had to go buy a new desk top yesterday. The virus was a redirect and in one day my computer has 379 viruses. Got the virus by opening a link that was posted, just not sure when or where... Was told that that kind of virus could set dormant for months before it attacks the computer. It's a pain that some sob is setting out there trying to do something like this...

Stump that bites!!!!!! but keep the old one off line and use virus programs on disk to try and wipe it out!!! Or wipe the whole drive clean and start from scratch. but again it still bites!!

Out here...
I get e-mail from friends regularly with links attached. It helps knowing your friends and knowing they don't talk like the notes are worded. The thing is they never know the notes are sent or that their PC is compromised until its to late, or you let um know. Most viruses are passed around that way!

That is what they said, that it would have to be wiped out and reloaded. With it being a XP and some years on it I'm going to kill the hard drive and send the puter to be recycled. The new puter is a Windows 7, different to use but I'm learning it.

I went to a Mac back in November..... I have not had issue 1 with it as of yet! It is different for sure, but so far.... so good. I have never heard of anyone catching a virus on an a Mac....I guess it's possible.... but not too common. They are quite a few pennies more than a windows PC.... which is a drawback for sure. I think my next desktop for home will be an Apple as well.
